Getting started

  1. Install MetaVPN from Google Play.
  2. Open the app and tap connect.
  3. Approve the VPN permission prompt from Android — this is required to encrypt your connection.
  4. You're protected. The app shows a connected status once the tunnel is active.

Connection issues

If you can't connect or the connection drops, try these in order:

  • Toggle the connection off and on again.
  • Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to rule out the network.
  • Make sure the Android VPN permission is still granted (Settings → Network & internet → VPN).
  • Restart the app, then restart your device.
  • Update to the latest version on Google Play, or reinstall.

Subscriptions & billing

  • Free trial: the yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. You won't be charged if you cancel before it ends.
  • Manage or cancel: open the Google Play app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → MetaVPN. You can cancel anytime and keep access until the period ends.
  • Prices: shown in Google Play and may vary by region.
  • Refunds: billing is handled by Google Play, so refund requests follow Google Play's refund policy.
  • Restore purchase: sign in with the same Google account you subscribed with, and your plan restores automatically.
